Description
Mirabilis Jalapa, (four o’clock flower) Hardy Perennial. Best grown in the ground rather than pots. The bulbs look like black carrots and only ever come in mixed colours. However we are able to roughly judge colour by looking at the tip of the bulb, so you will receive a good mix, normally, pink, white, yellow, mauve. The images are from our garden. A beautiful strong perfume will fill your garden throughout the evening through to early morning.

Planting Guide
Plant: March. 5 cm soil on top of the bulb. Spacing 60cm. Flowers July to first frost. Height 60+ cm .
Hardy. Perennial. I can’t rate this plant enough. Plant in the ground in full sun, feed with Liquid Growmore or chicken pellets; in return you will be reward with a mass of highly scented flowers that open out in the evening. The Bulbs look like black carrots, the most pointed part is the bottom of the bulb. Mulch over in winter to protect from frost.
Propagation: Divide overcrowded clumps in late spring when starting to grow and replant.
