Description
Cardiocrinum Giganteum. Robust, perennial. This giant needs space, it also needs humus-rich soil and some shade. It will grow to 9ft (270cm) tall, when in full bloom, Lily-like trumpets about 6in (15 cm) long are borne in clusters on a stem above your head and are strongly fragrant. Native habitat; Himalayas.

Planting Guide
Plant: March-April. Remove from poly-pot. Plant with tip just below the surface. Spacing 100cm. Flowers July-Aug. Height 150-270 cm.
Frost hardy. Perennial. Needs partial shade along with humus rich, moist soil that has good drainage, water well during dry warm conditions. This bulb may not flower in its first growing season, mulch over in the winter.
Propagation: From seed, which can take up to seven years to flower.
