Leucojum thrive in full sun or light shade, with moist, but well-drained soil. They are a close relative of the snowdrop family, but have several points of difference; the flowers are bell-like and are borne on much longer stems. For a real show they are best planted in groups and can be left to naturalise in damp grass or front borders.
