Fritillaria meleagris - Snakeshead

Fritillaria meleagris is the most popular fritillaria in the UK, a must have for all gardeners. They can be naturalised in the grass, borders or the rockery. Beautiful chequered bells hang down on slender stems at a height of 15-20 cm during the months of April and May. We also hold the pure white one which is named Fritillaria meleagris alba. These plants grow naturally in damp meadows in Southern England.
